What this site records when you visit it, and what it never records.

Analytics

We measure how people use this site with our own analytics, hosted on Cloudflare in the EU. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.

What we record for each page you view: the page address without any query string, the website that linked you here (its domain only), campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and ref), your country, your device type, browser and operating system (from the information your browser sends with every request), how long the page was visible, how far you scrolled, and which Book a call button you pressed or which external link you followed.

What we do not record: your IP address, your exact location, your name or email, or anything you type into a form. Your IP address is used for a moment to look up your country and is never stored.

Counting visits: to count a visit once rather than once per page, we combine your IP address and browser details with a random value that changes every day, and keep a short code made from them. We cannot turn that code back into your IP address, it is deleted after 48 hours, and the same person on two different days counts as two visits. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we skip this code entirely and only count the page view.

Bookings: when you book a call through cal.com, we record that a booking happened and which button led to it. Your name, email and notes stay with cal.com and in our email; they are not added to our analytics.

Retention: detailed records are deleted after 90 days. After that we keep only daily totals, such as the number of visits per day.

Umami: this site also uses Umami, a second analytics service that sets no cookies, to count page views. See Umami’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

Your choices and questions: you can turn on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser. For any question or request about this data, email [email protected].
